Gradual Adoption of the Solutions
Three African countries, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and the Republic of Congo plan to embrace crypto and blockchain solutions powered by The Open Network (TON). In addition, Cameroon is considering issuing a national Stablecoin based on the same blockchain platform.
According to TON's statement, the announcement of the blockchain body's plan to offer these solutions following its successful engagements with each of the three African nations. As a result, these nations' adoption of TON's blockchain and cryptocurrency solutions will be gradual.

Democratizing the Financial System
The Republic of Congo's Minister for posts, telecommunications, and the digital economy - Leon Juste Ibombo, said it has been on the solution path for several years, having witnessed the widespread adoption of mobile payments across the nation. This is the next step in the journey, and TON is the fruitful partner to facilitate this.
Ibombo's counterpart from the DRC - Desire Cashmir Eberande Kolongele, said the issuing of the Stablecoin democratizes accessibility to the financial system for millions of underbanked citizens. The Cameroonian Minister of Posts and Telecommunication - Minette Libom Li Likeng, said the TON partnership plays a significant role in the e-ecosystem of the country for enhancing the payment solutions and financial inclusion through CAMPOST.
