DJI Pocket 2 with More Features

The world’s biggest player of easy-to-fly drones and aerial photography, renowned Drone producer, Da-Jiang Innovations popularly known as DJI unveiled the most powerful second-gen three-axis mini gimbal camera DJI pocket 2, a successor to the original DJI Osmo pocket. The company first launched Osmo mobile 4 gimbals in august, soon after the start of this month, they launched their New Ronin Gimbals designed for larger cameras. Pocket 2 is dissimilar to the Osmo pocket or Ronin version. Its improved design, microphone array, and a set of smart new modes are some of the improved updates. The removable base plate which allows attaching new accessories is similar in both cameras. Though its accessories cost extra, it's super smooth 4k video, pocket-sized design, and easy motion timelapse will hopefully capture the eyes of users.

A glimpse of Special Features

This new vlog friendly video camera uses a wide (20mm equivalent) lens with FOV 93° f/1.8 aperture and 1/1.7 inch CMOS sensor with 8X zoom using 64-megapixel mode and 4X lossless zoom in 1080p video or 16-megapixel stills. It enhances the improvements of footage, more defined zoom quality, improved low light photos, better dynamic range, and extra background blur. It comes with a maximum image size of 9216 x 6912pixels and with a shutter speed of 8-1/8000 s. This new wide-angle camera supports 4K video up to 60frame per second at 100Mbps and a robust accessory library. It provides 140 minutes of battery life and weighs 117 grams with a capacity of 875mAh. The lanyard attachment hole in pocket 2 helps to stop dropping the tiny gimbal when using it.

Exclusive Features in Detail

The three-axis gimbal stabilizes the tilt, pan, and roll of a camera. It helps to balance video in the shaky movement. The controllable range of pan is -230° to +70°, tilt -100° to +50° roll ±45°. The major complaint in Osmo pocket is its audio quality, which is addressed in this new pocket 2. The new DJI matrix stereo microphones tactically placed on the body to avoid general hand-holding spots and routing the audio to amp-up on where the camera is pointed. The capability of wind reduction of this camera ceases the tearing noise of wind blow across mic surfaces. Its stereo effect, Track 3.0, and fast hybrid AF(autofocus system combines traditional contrast-detection AF with phase-detection AF) makes the audio quality exclusive.
