MakeMyTrip Uses Polygon Blockchain for NFT Collection

Polygon tweeted one of India's largest online travel organizations, 'MakeMyTrip,' has introduced its own NFT collection on Polygon-powered ngageNFT. Since last year, Polygon has seen an inflow of worldwide brands launching NFT drops on its blockchain.

Italian luxury fashion brand Prada and sportswear brand Adidas joined together in building their first NFT project on Polygon blockchain. Another fashion brand, Dolce & Gabbana, also publicized its NFT expansion on the Polygon blockchain following the introduction of the DGFamily NFT community in alliance with UNXD.

Polygon recently updated that it has been chosen as the official blockchain platform of Switzerland's largest city Lugano. The city will create its blockchain system with Polygon helping in the process.

Polygon Confirms PoS Infrastructure Recovery

The PoS chain has resumed normal operations since this weekend's Fix, followed by bridge features such as deposits and withdrawal - leading to full PoS system recovery. Polygon added all funds were safe and secured during the issue resolution.

On 10th March 2022, Polygon Network (MATIC) engineers unveiled issues with Heimdall - a layer of PoS design. To allow creators to fix it, the decision was to halt the transaction. However, as MATIC users started a heated discussion on social media platforms, the team issued a temporary resolution to continue the operation.
